Method 1: Easy Blanching
One serving of vegetables = one cup = ¼ of a dinner plate
Step 1: In the saucepan, add 1 teaspoon of salt to half a pot of water and bring to a boil.
Step 2: Add roughly 4 servings of vegetables to the boiling water. Use either Fresh Vegetables cut into ½ -1 inch sized pieces, or Frozen Vegetables.
Step 3: After the vegetables turn a brighter color, taste a piece. When it’s at your desired texture, remove with a slotted spoon or into a colander. Make sure to drain all the water out.
For more layers of sophistication: (Optional)
Blanch Complements using steps 2 & 3, and add to the vegetables
Warm up Microwave complements in the microwave for 30-60 seconds and add to the vegetables
Step 4: Add and coat evenly either 2 tablespoons of Sauce, or 1 tablespoon of original garlic sauce + 1 teaspoon Spice
For an additional layer of flavor (Optional), “Top it off”
